Try designing a few rows of your own that contain some suggestion of key centres balanced with notes and intervals that disturb any implied key. Play the rows and consider how successful they are from a melodic point of view. If you're not happy with any aspect, try making changes remembering to maintain the fundamental principle of using one example of each of the 12 notes within the row.
